In the spirit of all things Spring and community involvement, we're so very proud to be sponsoring the Chelsea Youth League 7/8 year old Rockies baseball team. I went out to watch the boys play last night and I was very impressed with them. They can hit, they can throw, and darnit if they aren't just so much fun to watch.
Over the years I grew tired of the major leagues. It seems their motivation isn't so much the game anymore. I enjoy seeing our local Birmingham Barons minor team play much more. And now, I can enjoy these little guys playing the game they love so much and having tons of fun on the diamond because they want to play ball. They looked so excited to be out there and they all have full uniforms and a great field to play on. Boy, we were lucky to get t-shirts some years when I played, let alone have manicured fields, score boards and functional helmets!
Anyway, you looked good out their kids. Have fun! We're proud to have our name on your shirts!
